Along my tea journey, I have met some of the most amazing tea people and developed some wonderful tea relationships. As I look back on one particular tea friend, it dawned on me there was something bigger then tea which brought us together. Yes, we first met through our love for blogging about tea and our hopeless addiction to buying teaware (It didn't help when we realized we lived less than an hour away which contributes to how we're forever getting into a great deal of tea trouble). But the most profound point in our friendship, emerged when God knew Jo Ani Johnson would be assigned to help me through some of the most darkest moments in my life. Tea was just the divine cover-up for something deeper. Yes, I've gotten off the topic here, so I will reel it back in. I just felt it's important we recognize those who touch our life in a positive way.
Today I would like to showcase the amazing tea jewelry created by Jo Ani Johnson who owns "A Gift of Tea". Like any other industry, I find the small businesses in the tea industry don't get enough exposure and it's time for a change! We need to start to support each other and highlight some of the great things happening in our industry.
Here's a sneak peak of my growing collection of fabulous tea theme creations designed and handmade by Jo Ani:
"Gaiwan on a Log" Hanging Necklace
I absolutely love the different elements used on this piece, especially the hanging tea leaves.
"Gaiwan of Roses" Pendant & Matching Earrings
Can we just talk about the intricate wicker plate which holds the dainty gaiwan and the blooming rose? Check out the beading on the gaiwan lid and bowl.
"Teapot Cameo" Pendant
Honestly, I have worn this stunning pendant almost every day. This is one of Jo's signature pieces which I literally begged for when I first saw her wearing it.
"Gong Fu in the Tea Garden" Pendant
This is just a work of art! The handmade Camellia Sinensis flowers are beautiful.
"A Gift of Tea" has some of the most unique handmade tea jewelry I have every seen. Please don't waste time admiring my personal collection! Contact Jo Ani and start your own collection.
