There was a freshness in the air at World Tea Expo 2016. Penton, who is the new organizer of this yearly event made it very evident they're serious about taking this expo to a whole new level. There were noticeable touches like the WTE White Paper and WTE Show Guide which indicated much time and thought was put into this year's event. The show floor activity was steady and the classes were very well attended.
The show for me was fast and furious due to several commitments I made to participate in several educational activities throughout the show. I will share more about the panel sessions, educational sessions and special events in another post, but for now please checkout a few of the new products I discovered at this year's show.
My deep love for the Taiwan tea culture immediately directed me to the SUMMUS booth. There I investigated a new T-Cup machine which I became so enamored with that I even forgot to take a photo. I hope to share more about this machine when it launches later this fall. In the meantime, I found their teas to be delightful, especially the Oriental Beauty. Love the packaging............
It was so nice to finally me Joseph Wesley Tea Importers. I have heard so many great things about his products, especially the Lapsang Souchong #07 which I can't wait to try using his special commission made gaiwan. JW brings tea and style to a whole new level...........
I was totally swept away by the Aiya's powered Rooibos Zen and Black Tea Zen Cafe Blends. This product will be available for sale at The Tea Lover's Archives shortly.
Packaging, packaging, packaging.......Pure Pu'er Tea's presentation was gorgeous! Now it's time to investigate if the product is as amazing as the packaging.
Sheng - Raw Tuo Chas
Shou - Cooked Tuo Chas
Eastern Elm had some of the most beautiful tea wares at the show. Of course I managed to purchase 2 of the most beautiful floor samples. The Tea Lover's Archives is excited about offering a line of products from this fairly new company.
On a recent trip to Taiwan, I noticed a growing trend of small bud vases being used in tea displays. I love the freshness of these two vases from Peace Leaf.
Dear Josephine of JT & Teas always has something special just for me at every expo. This pink porcelain aroma cup set along with the wood tray had me at the very moment I stepped into the booth. Who said tea ware can't be stylish?
I was so happy I was able to pick Babette Donaldson's new book "The Everything Healthy Tea Book". This book is loaded with informative tea information which every tea lover would be interested in.
There were so many new exhibitors with interesting products this year. For more post about about WTE 2016, please check out the Tea Blogger's Round Table. Several of my fellow blogger friends have posted some great write-ups about the WTE 2016.
