As a member of the Association of Tea Bloggers, I have the opportunity to participate in the special upcoming "Tea Bloggers Choice Awards". In honor of these awards, members are linking together today to share one of their favorite teas. Yes, it's a "Blog Carnival" and you're all invited.
Of course I have so many favorite teas, so I really had to think hard about what I would share at the carnival today. Drum roll please...........I decided Rose D'Himalaya by Mariage Freres would take front stage.
Mariage Freres
Rose D'Himalaya
This is no ordinary autumnal flush darjeeling. The tea leaves have an unexplained rose fragrance. Intoxicating! You can read more about this tea on page 76 in the book Mariage Freres French Tea by Alina Stella.
The dark red coppery wet leaves smell like a rose garden in the summer.
This is a lovely darjeeling with a beautiful golden red/amber liquor. It's smooth with a rose finish that lingers on the palate.
Mariage brings the rose garden right into your cup!
As the excitement builds for the announcing of the "Tea Bloggers Choice Awards", I look forward to sharing more of my favorite teas with you. Be sure to click this link to learn more about the awards and what other ATB members are drinking. In addition be sure to drop me a comment to let me know some of your favorite teas.
Blessings, Darlene
